Holiday Open Houses in Full Swing

Must be the season for open houses!  Last Saturday I went to the new location of Create a Party in Brea.  35,000 square feet of party rental space!  What a party it was.  With the Classic Rock sounds of the Southland Band outside under tents with tables and heat lamps and rooms full of holiday table settings, it made me want to come home and decorate for the holidays!  About 15 of their catering/restaurant partners were there with lots of great food to sample from decadent cheese platters from At Your Service to Mexican food from Tlaquepaque and Sweet Potato Pie from Tiscareno's.  And they couldn't leave out desserts and cakes by Collette's and Patty's Cakes and the fabulous Pumpkin flavored soft swirl from Create a Party themselves.  And to go with those scrumptious cakes our own OCBrides member Cafe Affair was serving up hot coffee, latte, and hot chocolate to stay warm!

I am so happy to have a party rental so close to us that rents everything from china to large tents!

Thank you Create a Party for the Invite!  We hope they become part of the OCBrides family!

Then on Sunday was the new Open House for one of OCBrides newest members, Flawless Weddings and Events.  They moved into the new Brea Lofts, which are shops below and housing above.  Great concept!  Tracy and her staff did a beautiful job decorating for this party and one of Brea's newest and hottest wine restaurants, 240 South, provided the most tantalizing appetizers!  One of the best Bruschetta's I have ever tasted, an ahi tartar chip, and grilled veggies and cheese rolled in squash.  Oh my, I have wanted to visit that restaurant and now I know I will be going there soon!

Once a month we here at Soho Taco get the privilege of spreading the word about our gourmet taco catering for weddings at OC’s premier bridal industry meetup.  And yesterday’s event was yet another spectacular success.

Not only did our sales and marketing crew get another chance to make some valuable connections, but we also raffled off another FREE tacos certificate!

If you’re a fan of timeless vehicles, you really should visit Crevier Classic Cars.  We all had a great time checking out their Orange County facility, which would actually be a beautiful place for a wedding reception – especially for car lovers.
