A Weekend with OC Brides

Wow, what a fabulous weekend with some of the girls of OC Brides.  It started on Friday at one of our newest members restaurant's ...  The Olive Pit Mediterranean Grill in Brea.  They are a gourmet restaurant with counter top prices.  Samath Lam, the manager of catering, had us try some fabulous new selections such as the Grilled Octopus, Horta (Dandelions), Taramousalata (Greek Caviar dip), my all time favorite cheese Dip, Horiatiki (Village) Salad, and more.  I was joined by Dawn Harman of Portraits by Dawn.

Both of these beautiful ladies were going to join me on our Wedding Bliss radio show with Cindy and Angel on www.knocradio.com.  You can always go to www.knocradio.com, then go to Fridays, Wedding Bliss and listen to our replays.  Listen to Friday's show here.

Then Sam and I continued the evening with a glass of wine at the Versai Wine Bar in Yorba Linda and then off to pick up and deliver a cake from Amazing Cake Creations.  And yes, the cake was truly an amazing creation.

The night was long so I got off to a very late start Saturday but my journey continued with Dawn Harman and Grace Teran of Amazing Cake Creations.  We started off with shoulder and foot massages at Chill n Relax in Fullerton.  There were only 2 massage therapists so Dawn got double the pleasure.

Then we were off to the Melting Pot for our favorite Cheese fondue.  Between 3 of us we ordered 3 pots.  Mmmm good!  We had saved seats for the outdoor jazz concert in the street and listened to the fun bluesy, jazzy sounds of Aunt Kizzy's Boyz.  During the break we played Blackjack with our OC Brides Member High Roller Rentals!

After a good night of sleep, I was off to meet Beth of White Feathers Events for lunch in Newport then to the Brides Walk Corona Del Mar.  This was an interesting twist on a bridal event.  There were venues, restaurants, yoga, hair salons, bridal salons, florists and more to visit, meet, and collect bridal info.

This was our first stop, Sherman Library and Gardens.  We never knew this place was here.  It was so gorgeous and serene with PCH right behind it.  I would love to have an OC Brides event here!

Continuing down the street we found the best dress shop!  Maison Saint Marie.  Beth and I both found the perfect dress for our November OC Brides GALA.  They have everything from shoes to dresses, to headpieces to jewelry and handbags!

We couldn't believe after all this, we agreed to an impromptu invitation to a Culinary Tasting event at Golden West College by our fellow member Samath from the Olive Pit Mediterranean Grill.  More food and lots to take home!  What a fabulous fun weekend with some of the OC Brides members!
