"Remove your But's and Step into your ASK!".  She says you must Believe in Yourself!  It never hurts to ask for what you need such as a referral.  Forget about the Buts that keep you from asking.  Remember to mention "A good referral for me to day is _____________" when networking!

Her NLP training teaches you how to adopt another person's listening behavior. Understanding this behavior will ensure the other person understands what you are saying at a deeper level.  3 of the forms of listening include Visual, Auditory, and Feeling.  Pay attention to how the other person speaks.  Do they say "I see what you're saying or do they say I hear you?".  Speak in their language and your communication with others will be greatly enhanced!

BRIDES: Mariah and Andrew's Dream Wedding

Dreams certainly came true for this young cancer survivor. Mariah was diagnosed with brain cancer at the young age of 6. Doctors didn't give her much time. But at the age of 25, this tenacious girl was able to walk down the aisle with the love of her life Andrew in Huntington Beach August 20, 2014.

I'm told they met online and instantly fell in love. It was Mariah's dream to have a western themed wedding.

Erin Taylor of Angel Brides put out the call to help this beautiful couple and many vendors stepped up and offered their time, products and services. OC brides team was honored to coordinate this special event and provide a fun western candy buffet along with Wind Waves at the entrance. Thanks to White Feathers Events and Elegant Wind Waves for their contributions and time.

We sincerely wish this happy young couple of lifetime of fabulous memories!

Real Weddings: Gisel and Robert's DIY Wedding

Congratulations to Gisel and Robert!  Their beautiful union took place at the Holiday Inn Buena Park on July 31,2015.

Gisel was a wonderful DIY bride to work with.  Incorporating her own personality, she created many special touches for her wedding.
Her butterfly wishing tree was a beautiful way for guests to send their well wishes for the new couple.

VENDORS: Networking WORKS with the right Attitude

What an emotional day at The Big Event yesterday.  I have never gotten teary eyed so many times at a networking event in my life.  Thank you to Dawn Harman for asking for help and allowing me to participate and meet these wonderful people.  The motivating speakers continuously reminded us that we CAN do whatever we put our minds to and we ARE worthy of success! And most times that means to work as a team! This group really knows what networking is all about and they are all dedicated to helping one another.  Serving others BEFORE asking for business.  As I stepped away from my table one of the speakers asked me how the event was going for me.  I mentioned that I was there to help my photographer friend and described OC Brides a bit.  He said "What do YOU need next?".  I shared with him where I wanted OC Brides to be and as he handed me his card he said "Call me, I can help you with that".    I have had many business associates help me over the years merely because they understood how I wanted to "help" others build their businesses even though it isn't a profitable endeaver for me.  I am truly grateful for all these wonderful people who have and continue to have faith in me by offering their expertise to help me help Wedding Professionals succeed!

WeddingStore 24 Indian Seminar

I have to give Neema Lodhia fabulous praise for producing such a wonderful and informative event last night at the Taglyan Cultural Center.

The event began with appetisers and specialty drinks from Monsoon Fine Indian Cuisine  of San Diego and some Indian dancing entertainment.










Then April Ropbles of Rbles Video gave a very informative speech about the different styles and statistics of the Indian Wedding market.


What a beautiful venue inside and out.

And a unique fashion show.  These model not only show us the amazing and colorful Indian fashions but they dance a bit too!
